Tiehisuma Sheabutter Processing Centre was formed in 2005 with the main aim of processing handcrafted sheabutter, creating a one-stop platform to enable the indigenous women extract our sheabutter.

"Tiehisuma", a word in Dagbani one of the 46 languages in Ghana means "Good thoughts". Our actions are guided by this word both to our clients and community.

Currently TiehisumaSheabutter Processing Center has 360 women in six communities extracting sheabutter including our main processing center in Tamale. Our sheabutter is handcrafted, produced by very experienced rural women and there are no middlemen.

Quality and traceability are our watchwords and we delight to create a mutually beneficial relationship with our clients. No chemicals are used in our productions. Our sheabutter processing facility is well fenced with a main gate. The whole production is done in-situ to enable maximum supervision.

We have storage facilities to store up to 100tons at a time. We have a water-filter which extra filters our tap water to ensure extra clean water for our productions.

Since its inception our women have processed over 640tons of sheanuts for both local distribution and export.

Our products feed cosmetic, pharmaceutical and confectionery industries in the US, Italy, UK, Germany, Canada, Saudi Arabia, India, China, South Africa and Egypt as well as some big cosmetic companies in Ghana.

Besides sheabutter processing we also produce african blacksoap, using our sheabutter as the main oil. We do also supply other commodoties including; Neem Oil, Baobab Oil, Moringa Oil, Moringa powder, Cocoa Butter and Soyabeans. All these are sourced from quality sources with long years of working with.
